About 5 years ago, a thought had occurred to me:
“Success may have more to do with asking and delayed gratification (Marshmallow test). “ | Hence, I came up with the acronym. BAM: Basics (enabling them), Asking, Marshmallow test
5 years later, I am thinking:
- AFEB has a reference to the Marshmallow test via Dr. Michio Kaku: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZLAv3WT8q9p4eG98CxSYF8XbJ0a3W9Tj/view?pli=1
- An acquaintance was kind to remind me about the power of asking.
- So I took out a marker and put 'Asking' on my vision board
- By the way, here is a template that I leverage in order to conduct vision board workshops. Here's the link. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TMK1wruWX21q8wVq1MUbo7vjzhOYqMRq7skxYOmgZWQ/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.quc8zj661v0q
- Well, I am also thinking of Emeril Lagasse. But I couldn't find a creative commons image of the fellow. BAM!
I feel like I should come back and write this blogpost in a more mindful manner. So that's what I am going to do, instead of harnessing quotes from the following article via Steve Jobs and pasting them here. Great article btw. Here's the link
